Follow my journey along the Wales Coast Path, where I share photos from the walk, my insights into walking the path, where I’ve stayed and eaten, and the challenges I’ve faced, to help you plan your very own Welsh Walking Adventure.
The beautiful nine-mile walk from Llwyngwril to Barmouth takes you through farmland and forestry area with stunning views of Barmouth, before heading along the coastline at Fairbourne, along the estuary, and over Barmouth Bridge. This was an important walk for me, as our end point was my grandad’s favourite place, and the place he was evacuated to during the Second World War.
The walk from Aberdyfi to Llwyngwril begins with a three-mile stroll along Aberdyfi Beach, before heading into Tywyn and beyond, over Pont Tonfanau and across the fields to Llwyngwril, with lovely views across the estuary to Barmouth.
